Initial Consultation
Sizing of your system is a crucial first step. This analysis is based on your particular historical usage patterns and estimating what will happen in the future. We will conduct a thorough system and financial analysis based in information collected in our initial consultation.
Talk to a real person who visits your home and knows firsthand where solar panels can be installed. A site visit is crucial to get an accurate understanding of your needs for solar.
Energy conservation is a big part of this. We will walk you through an energy audit to help determine if you can conserve electricity first.
System Design
Every Solar Photovoltaic (PV) system is specific to each home, because no two pieces of real estate are exactly the same. Important considerations are: orientation of house, slope of roof, size of roof, available space, hills, trees, etc.
The Solar PV system will be designed for the specific requirements of your house and your energy usage patterns by a highly trained electrical engineer.
Financing
We work closely with lenders who specialize in financing solar power systems. We can help you find one and will work with the lender of your choice to make sure they have all the information necessary about your solar electric system so they can quickly fund your loan.*
Building Permits & Inspections
We file and complete all building permits and inspections for you. This ensures that the installation will meet all current building codes and safety standards. We take care of the bureaucracy for you.
Installation
We personally install every Solar PV system we sell. This includes purchasing all the materials, delivering them to your home, getting all required building permits, applying for your state rebates, installing the Solar Panels and mounting hardware, installing the Inverter(s), connecting the system to your house wiring and to the utility company, and verifying that your system is working correctly.
Completing and Submitting All Rebate Paperwork
We will complete and submit all of the paperwork, required forms, and documentation so you can receive your cash rebate quickly. We take care of the bureaucracy for you.
Maintenance
Your system should require very little maintenance. All products include a minimum 10 year warranty and many offer up to 25 years. Your system is expected to provide electricity for more than 25 years.
In addition, we offer many levels of maintenance depending on your preferences. We can inspect your system quarterly, semi-annually, annually, or any other time period you prefer. Warranty
Minimum 10 year warranty on labor and materials. And many components have 25 year warranties.
